I have not seen this problem with SS. You might want to test your connection, or restart your modem. I have found that sometimes my connection gets very slow and a restart of the modem and router fixes it. |

Same here .
I don't think SS has anything to do with upload speed. Its your ISP (internet Service Provider)
Rebooting your modem usually helps. |

This might help. I have fairly slow mobile broadband but three images shouldn't take more than a 3-4 minutes to upload. What I do sometimes find is that it gets stuck on the "uploading images" page and doesn't move to the submit page even though upload is complete (I get this on some other sites as well but more so here). If you are still getting the uploading message after a few minutes just click on to the home page -where you will probaly find your images are uploaded and waiting to be submitted. Probaly just something to do with my computer/browser/security settings etc and nothing to do with SS (like I say, I get this elsewhere as well).
Regards, David. |

I have had a few occasions recently when uploading using Http that the uploding screen continues for a very long time, but if I open SS in another browser page the images have actually uploaded and are waiting for review even though the upload screen is still churning away.

Ftp is the way to go, I had EXACTLY the same issue, all other sites fine, internet connection fine, started using ftp, works fine every time, just sometimes the files take a while to show up on SS.
Filezilla is what I use, good luck |

Agree with this one, and if you've not used it much don't let FTP scare you. It's as simple as drag and drop. |

x2 Filezilla hangs up and resets the upload ALOT so you get a dozen fragments for each succesfull upload (my experience with footage anyways). Cyberduck is quick and reliable.
Still, I usually use the browser based upload. Never had a problem for stills. |

My copy of the latest version of Filezilla (3.5.3) won't connect to SS. Fortunately I kept an older version which works just fine. |
