This vector got rejected for potential copyright infrigement. So sad, cause its raster version helped me to pass the exam. What might be the actual reason? The possibility that shaver design is copyrighted? |

Possibly to me it looks like a Norelco tri-head shaver. For what it's worth the vector looks as good as the real thing.
Makes me wonder why the vector gets rejected for copyright and the raster doesn't. I had that happen to me too recently. Raster went in and the vector rejected on a cooler I made. Granted I was taking a chance with it since it looks like an Igloo cooler. Just wonder why it's not across the board. |

Actually i used attached image as a reference, but the design is not 100% copied and the reference shaver itself is some chinese nonsense.
How do you think, what can be changed for this vector to get accepted? It's a pity to throw the work into a thrash bin. |

That I don't know unfortunately. I've never fixed an image that's been rejected for trademark.
Hopefully someone else that has can give you more insight. |

Could be the popcorn box. Remove the checkmark from that and leave the empty circle on it. All the other ones in the SS collection are either just red and white striped, says popcorn on it or has an open space for text.
Everything else looks fine.
Make a note to the reviewer that you corrected the problem when you resubmit it. |

I'd agree! McD color scheme is probably what did it? But changing the popcorn, can't hurt? LOL
Is that coffee cup with the three wavy lines close to anything trademarked? I'm not a coffee person, so I'd just ask? |

As for the shaver; I've submitted a few things that I was afraid would be rejected for copyright, because they could think I copied an actual product. The Ace below for example, I know the Ace of Spades design is unique to each brand, so I included this note to the reviewer: "Note: The center design on the card is my own design, it is not copied from an existing card or brand. Also, the letter A is my own illustration, not a typeface."

I think Norelco is the only company that uses three round heads on their shaver.
The problem with the fast food is the Big Mac. (bottom center) The double-decker bun is specific to McDonald's.
You also have a technical problem with the wrap (lower left) |

thanks, i've already noticed the technical problem) Then i'll kill the double decker!
What about Norelco, i really doubt that they have any patent or trademark for tri-head shaver design. There is at least one more similar electric shaver - Philips Philishave |
