Hello,

I'm new here on Shutterstock as well as on any other stock site.
I'm going to upload my first 10 works.
I will be glad to hear your advice.
I did my illustrations in Photoshop based on my hand drawing sketches.
Could you look at my drawing and tell me what you thing?
Can I send this 10 illustrations or should I change something or replace some images?

Thanks :)

my advice is to start learning how to use Illustrator (or another vector editing and creating program. Your sketches of dressing people will be much more useful in vector and isolated on white background

I agree with you.
I'm going to start learning Illustrator.
I postponed it untill now because I love working in Photoshop and therefore can't find the motivation.
Thanks for your post :)

Hi!
Arkadi has right, you have style for more for vector work than for Photoshop. But it is not problem to get onboard with these rasters. Many people here upload vector files and their raster versions, just rasters are less popular. You can start with rasters and in meantime study Illustrator or Inkscape or Corel, what you have.
I think you must make more diversity for first 10. Your women are too similar. I mean - take candy woman, models, birds, cows and Krakow woman, and one of rest five similars, and add 4 more, and submit.
Your cows are great!
Good luck, neighbor!

I agree with mjak, cut a couple of simular pictures and submit something new in their place...just a hint more variety. Your works look good though and rasters sell good too because not everyone has illusrator programs for vectors. That's what I did to start, submitted my jpegs until I got Illustrator. Now I submit jpegs and vectors, but the vectors do out sell the jpegs.

One more thing, when you submit, make sure you check the "illustrations" box otherwise you may as well forget it. You will get rejected for not letting them know you have illustrations.

Good Luck....I personally see no problem.

I read in the tutorial for beginners that it's good first to ask questions here on the forum about the first 10 and later send filles for approval. I'm glad that I did so.
Thank you all for valuable hints.
I have started searching for exchangers to those similar drawings, especially for the images with the same young woman on it.

I'm thinking about some of this for replacement:

I have also drawing of mother reading to her daughter, but it's not ready yet.
What do you think? Are those here ok or should I wait and finish another one illustration?

Cute! Your artwork is very nice. Love your rabbit and painting set. These show a good variety and are better than what I submitted as my first 10.

Don't be in a hurry to fill out all the forms and make mistakes, take your time, make sure all the right boxes are checked and formats and sizes are right. Double check before you hit that submit button! lol

Good Luck and welcome to SS.

I think your art is good, especially the rabbit. All my illustrations are Photoshop only, so don't worry about that.

Only - like people say - be attentive in filling forms.
Good luck!
