I cant get this photo accepted, I need some tips. I went with this concept because people agreed it could have potential.
The antique version I submitted first was rejected for rough edges and noise. So I cleaned it up and then it was rejected in the B&W version for Composition--Limited commercial value due to framing, cropping, and/or composition.
What can I do to get this through? I dont want to change too much, because then the concept is lost. Maybe I just need to let it go? |
I think this is a piece of art! At first glance I could not note the trick you did. Anyway I don't think this is stock. I see this framed in a wall.

This one is even freakier!

This image reminds me of those decals which utilizes optical illusion. One time he looks like a profile and another the next. Very creative.

Right, this is based on the Rubin Vase but didnt copy the exact idea. I made it more like the Rorschach test.
Kind of like a splitting head...

I have one kind of like that (certainly will be familiar to you, Laurin). I should do more of them.
My other twins are real ones. This is the best-selling one (don't know why, the ones below are much prettier):

I've got two 8 year old identical twin nephews with Duchenne's muscular dystrophy (there are very few cases). Would there be a place for stock pictures of them? I don't see much here for muscular dystrophy. Is it too negative of a subject?

Planking was a fad that lasted all of 5 minutes and thankfully went away again.
