To our Shutterstock Footage contributors,
Good news: We recently fixed a bug that prevented you from selecting a preview image for your footage clips. Before the fix, only the first frame of a clip would appear as a preview image. Effective immediately, the frames you select using the upload tool will be used as preview images and thumbnails for your clips.

Hi, i really don't understand where i can edit a preview image for my footage clips. i've searched every corner of this site for that option..i could't find it, not even when uploading a new clip..
so..if someone can take me by the hand and rub my face in it, i would appreciate it..

Home -> Stats -> Status of submited footage. Enter the clip number where it says "Edit Footage Clip ID" and click Go.
Next you would have to click that little pen-like icon. That would in theory bring you to a page that allows you to edit description, keywords and categories. That page however seems to still be broken, at least I get an error page... |

i have recently been getting problems with footage uploads - e.g. not being able to process uploaded footage, preview icons and uploads disappearing, technical support "leading me around the houses" with standard instructions about using ftp - implying that it's my fault, but i have no such problems with my clips on other sites... does anybody know what's going on? |

that stuff happens often and makes me angry :-). They just send you the canned response when you know what to do already. they must just have generic tech support reading from a flow chart. |

Same here. Especially the missing thumbnails is irritating because it's hard to see which file is which if you're uploading a batch of files of the same shoot (similar descriptions and keywords). Support doesn't seem to be bothered answering questions about this (no reactions on my mails). |

I have the same problem. I do not see thumbnails of clips and can not do the process for clips for the inspection and approval. |

Hi
it`s been more than a month, please can you fix this bug, this is very important to be able to change preview thumbnail of your clip, because very often thumbnail generated by system is no representative to clip content. |

I just found out that for me it doesn`t work in google chrome browser, it works fine in internet explorer 8. |
