Oh what did i say months if not a year or so ago??

Sooner or later people will start making viruses for Macs as more people begin to buy and own them.

Everyone with Macs always Bragging on how they dont get viruses and they dont need any virus protection and how great they are just proves they are no different then anything else.

Need virus protection now?

It was only a matter of time

Not crabby Kelly just telling the truth.

Everyone i have ever met or known that owns a Mac is always bragging about how much better they are then a PC and them never needing virus protection because Macs dont get viruses.

Macs don't get viruses, ask any of the MacNazi's who have been claiming that for years.

Besides the the MAC is a PC. (unless Mac isn't a Personal Computer?)

World numbers and Mac has been gaining, very rounded off, MAC 11% other PC 89% and people wonder why they don't make some software for the 10 percent? ;-)

MAC does everything better than a PC and if a PC does something, MAC probably had it first. See how stupid we are, for using a PC. Last of all, when MAC had 5% of the market, not that long ago, people didn't bother to write a virus for that small minority.

Ah, that's success. Now MACs are a target for attacks just like the rest of us. Hey look, No one write viruses for Ubuntu, lets all switch to that OS.

And ps I confess MACs are better at graphics, photo editing, have better monitors, better laptops (with better monitors!) and are easier to add hardware and software. They are faster in most cases for processing any graphics and have been since MACs were black and white.

I'm just tired of hearing how they are not only better than sliced bread, they also claim to have invented bread... ;-) And when bread comes back, they will be the first to know about it, because they are the one true computer.

Nothing is too great for too long.. I'll admit Apple has made leaps and bounds in the consumer computer industry, and all the rest have had to follow, but sooner or later, Apple will be trumped..

Thanks for the warning. Macs are nearly fool-proof if you use the software update tool regularly. Unfortunately that means a re-start, which in turn leads to CAPTCHA migraine, which deters the creative process.

Ever heard anyone say. "sure glad I went back to PC" LOL

I was a staunch PC guy since the beginning and never fell for all the hype. i switched a year ago and I must say in all honestly. It was the best investment I've "EVER" Made. And why I didn't for so long amazes me now.Everything else PC's are great But for Imaging and footage?. Sorry, no contest at all.None.

Funny though is today I was at My Mac store and asked them if I should get anti Virus software. They assured me no. But Im going to anyway.
