Very old article. P5 has over a million and Shutterstock has over 510,000 clips when they used the example of SS having only 150,000.

I agree SD still has and will continue to have a great market value. That is why I always question the big price difference between HD and SD or even web sized. Heck web sized at such low prices is crazy when the marketing towards web advertisement is so strong.

If a HD clip is used in a million dollar TV adverting campaign or an SD is used in an high profile web / Facebook, YouTube campaign which clip had the most value? In many cases there is more money or marketing value on the web now. The price difference based on value between HD, SD and Web should be much closer.
