Anyone use this lens?

Looking to do some "Copy Work" and some tabletop food photography. I use the Tamron 90mm Macro for tighter food shots, but looking to go wider. The 50mm F1.8 is out of stock everywhere. Since i use a D7000, this might be a good focal length for slightly wider shots. The digital picture shows it to be pretty darn sharp.

General Thoughts?

50mm f1.8 is a cheapo lens, stores should be fairly fast to restock it, its an excellent lens and very good value for money, ROI is very good too.

Well i can say i have been using the 40mm F2.8 micro for a few weeks now and found its IQ to be very good. It seems like it is just ever so slightly less then the Tamron 90mm in the sharpness category, but extremely sharp and very useful. The only downside i have to it is it takes only a little less then a quarter turn of the focusing ring to go from infinity to 1:1, whereas the 90mm macro is about one full revolution. Other then that, quite a fantastic lens. Seems to be a bit sharper the the 50mm F1.8, but not really noticeable in general practice. Here are some shots from it

Dont ask me why the milk is in the background, i tried it, and i sells, so i guess i cant complain. Lol
