I was asked to do the following on one of my images:
Text--Please convert text to outlines.
Is this the same as "expand appearances", which I know how to do....if not, please tell me what they mean and how to do it?
The text I used was not really part of the design, but a designation of a, b, c, etc. for nautical flags.

Yes, you can expand it or go to type-create outlines |
