It seems like the biggest and meanest storms stayed farther west than they predicted, which is good because around here it means they're out in the most rural areas. Also, it took the system much longer to advance than they thought. At one point the dry line was actually retreating to west instead of moving to east and fueling the storm.
Susan I've heard so many stories around here about people getting in the shelters that are partially filled with water, and snakes swimming in there that I'd want to make sure however I built one it'd keep the water AND the snakes out...LOL
Kinda like having to decide whether to stay in the house under the stairs or go in the crawlspace with black widows, brown recluses an scorpions... :| |

I'll take the snow over tornadoes any day, yikes!
Did you see that guy who hasn't had a sale in 15 days, I can hardly beleive that, something must be broken on his end. |

You could make one with doors to keep the critters out and a sump pump coupled with a gas generator to pump out water and give you some light. And yes I worried about you getting in that crawlspace.
Looks like the tornadoes are needed north east and Kelly could be getting more snow soon. I have relatives in Michigan. Hope it calms down before it moves on and causes more damage.

Yeah, I just read his thread.
I agree, it can't be right. And that's scary, because if his sales are "broken" what does it mean to the rest of us?
Are the sales disappearing somewhere else than his account, or is his port somehow invisible to the buyers?

Broken! Something is plain out effed up.
My neighbor built his garage and before the foundation was poured he dug a huge hole so he would have a pit to work on his cars but at the same time it was protection during hurricanes so after it was dug he called up the Septic company and ordered a tank to fit the hole which is now his pit and hurricane shelter. |

That's a load of you know what.
I'm suspicious now... he has 14 pages of images, it's practically impossible. |

I didn't even look at his port - I didn't dare to -- and yep, with 14 pages and no sales in two weeks, THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE. Something is very very wrong. |

Most people will not complain because when you do you have the judgmental crowd that tries to convince you that the blame rests on your shoulders. That is unfortunate because it prolongs the pain for all of us. |
