Using Nikon Capture NX2 with my d300. shooting RAW (nef), "lossless compressed". As I understand it Shutterstock excepts JPEG and Tiff. If I convert my Nef images to Tiff is there any problem sending them using
Nikon View or is there a better way to do this? Also,
if I convert to Tiff what do I loose in the conversion.
Thanks |

Don't bother sending them in as a Tiff. The file is huge and Shutterstock will convert them to jpg anyway. Just edit your image, save the tiff as a master then save again as a jpg and send that in. |

Thanks David. What about converting the raw to jpeg, saving both, saving the jpeg again and sending it. No tiff? |

If you want to save the RAW image as your master that is fine. Just convert it to jpg and send that one in. |

Thanks again David. I appreciate you taking the time. I'm a little behind the curve with the software. I'm doing a lot of studying on the internet and also contemplating making a software change.
