Ordered and received the Flashpoint BG...
PROS:
Button layout is like the Canon BG.
The rubber grip areas have a nice tacky feel to them. Feels secure.
Canon batteries registered all info
Only cost $58
CONS:
Battery compartment door does not shut with a solid feel or sharp audible click.
Did not fit my 7D. There was a significant gap between the 7D body and the grip.
Holding the camera in portrait orientation caused the grip to lose contact with the camera...camera shuts down. Pics below:

Canon BG fit like a glove. There is no gap and it feels solid. The battery compartment door locks with authority. The only bad aspect is the cost compared to the Flashpoint.
Since I have only owned one Flashpoint BG...for less than 2 hours...I am not judging their product. Maybe I just received a bad copy...I am just pointing out my observations.
Kudos to Adorama. Ordered the Flashpoint online and received it fast. Returned the Flashpoint to their store in the city...super smooth transaction. The only bad aspect was having to shell out a few extra bucks for the Canon BG.
