Absolutely awesome shots guys. Soooo jealous.
Love the star trail shots. I've done a few over the years and have to say that the surrounding scenery makes all the difference. MV has it all. :-)

Hi everyone!
I have a few to post here tonight but I had to call Dave to figure some of this PS stuff out so I will try to post more later. Here is one of Antelope Canyon, one of Horseshoe Bend, and one HDR of the sunrise in Page, AZ the morning before everyone arrived. I love the images that I have seen from everyone else so far. Hope you enjoy mine :D I will try to post a few more tonight once I have the time to figure out the re-sizing in PS. Hope we can all keep in touch! I had an AMAZING time and can't wait for the next workshop :D

Marlene,
I like the Antelope Canyon and the South Mule Canyon ruin shots. I've been to Antelope Canyon 5 or 6 times but I've never been there when the sun beam was visible. I would have never thought to put the flash in the window, way to go!

Thanks Mike!! Your patient encouragement and advice was greatly appreciated as well as your sensitivity to my fear of the area! I can say that I have been there and photographed these ruins because of you!!! You will be an amazing instructor and as I said please feel free to message me if you need help with developing lesson plans. I can't give advice with the photography stuff since you have more knowledge about that, but I can help with the construction and presentation of the syllabus. And beautiful shot Laurin...I have such a hard time with my meetup group not shooting while I am teaching...you are an inspiration for me to teach and not shoot....A whole new world has opened up to me now with the help of all of the instructors and many of the other participants. I also have to thank Jane...my amazing roomie, Maury for the driving and helpful hints, Katrina for reminding me that life is not just stock photography....we all have other things going on! Many thanks also to Susan, Lorraine, Rob, Wow...Can I just say everyone?

"life is not just stock photography" One of the things I stress most of all. This craft we love is either a hobby or a lifelong commitment and surviving the many, many twists and turns it may bring. The money part will come. You just have to learn to "Let it come" Good work Girlfriend.

Thank you Laurin...hopefully I will get there??? It's not about the $$ for me...it is about learning and understanding the processing part and getting rid of those shots that have no reason taking up space on my hard drive....I'll get there! I promise! It just might take a few months...years...whatever...as long as I can keep shooting I am happy!
BTW...thanks for posting the nasty shot of me when I came to see you....It is probably exactly how I feel right now looking at 1000 images from this past week. Granted they all aren't from the workshop and many are bracketed shots and star trail shots that I have never done before...but I won't delete anything until I get it right :D
