The first image was rejected for: Lighting Problems--Purple fringe, blown highlights or lenses flare. Please see <a href="http://buzz.

I know there are some blown highlights but isn't it supposed to be that way or I pushed it too much

Second image rejected for:Trademark--Contains potential trademark or copyright infringement. Please see <a href="http://buzz.s

There is no logos there. Is SS accepting any camera images at all?

Im looking them on my phone which is known to have a very bright screen and I can see a big lighting problem on the background. Im able to see a big blown area in the center and poor light on the background. And there is a cast of color on it.
Maybe the bad things are being increased by my screen but since i see other images here, i believe there is really a problem with your lighting.

Hope it helps.

The first photo has some weird blown out bluish-purple background with banding and other issues.

And as far as I know, they don't take any images with cameras as the main subject.

Yes the first one has too large of a blown out area. The lighting on the food shot is just about right but the whole background section is too over the top.

As for the camera shot SS is not taking many camera shots at all because many are recognizable. That one looks very much like one of the old Nikons.

Remember what I said with my previous post? The food portion looked pretty good, it was the background area that was the problem. Remove the bad area and you have a better shot which gets approved.

I just checked out the Zenit camera online and it has some very similar features to the old Nikons. If you look at the early Nikon F series and then look at the Zenit you can see the similarities. That is probably the reason why SS does not accept them because one can look very similar to another.
