This is a continuation of my previous post with 2 more images.

Previous post reads:
To start with, shame on me for submitting my photos for review before coming here, but I was in a hurry and didn't fine this forum till after I submitted. Thus, I didn't get enough accepted, however, I was actually encouraged by the reasons. It was not for shoddy photography or noise or anything like that, but mainly for "Limited Commercial Value". So since I am totally new to what is commercially valuable, I wanted to post these files here to get more detailed feedback on that reasoning so I can understand and submit better photos time. So here they are:

I assume this one is because there is one very very similar to it already on the site. I didn't realize that until I submitted it - must check better next time.

You can reply to you own original post and then add 3 more photos in your own thread, etc etc. You dont have to split them up in separate threads.

Cheers and welcome to SS

You need to leave room for a designer.

Also the 100% crops would be nice to have.

Really didn't think about replying to my own post for the remaining images - duh!

Thanks for all the feedback. I didn't provide 100% crops as I was only seeking a reasoning for the LCV. I get all the technical issues. Hoping to save time and space.

Michael, please, tell me your middle initial L doesn't stand for "Lucky".

[It's a semi-inside joke, which I'll explain after your answer ;-)

No not Lucky - actually I hate my middle name but using the initial was the only way to actually use my name for my screen name as there are probably 10 billion Mike or Michael Oliver's in the world - or so it seems!

But it's Laine. I was named after a nephew of my mother that I never met or even knew the parents. She felt "obligated". :-)

Ahh, okay, that's good. There was another microstock site named Lucky Oliver. It suddenly disappeared, along with some peoples' earnings I believe. I don't know the whole story, but I think it was ugly.

I'll probably edit this message shortly to disguise that site name. Shutterstock doesn't like other sites being named in their forums (though maybe it's okay if that site is no more).

Too late. I've already reported you to the authorities and I'm demanding your resignation from the world. Get your affairs in order.

I don't know why the first shot is limited commercial value. If you wanted to be picky about it, it could be lighting, especially for that lens flare spot on the left that could be cloned out with little difficulty.

The second shot has composition problems. It's leaning, the top is cut off awkwardly.

The LCV rejection could also be for composition. I like the first shot though. Maybe it's because you can't quite tell what city it is at a glance. I don't know. Cityscapes have pretty high commercial value. Commercial value can be tricky, and it's really up to the individual reviewer.
