Hi All,
Thinking of buying Nikon TC-20E III AF-S, intend to use with Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 VRII on Nikon D90 (will move onto FX body, hopefully soon).
@rinder99 on this post
| Quote: | | "...Only get a 1.7 tele converter. The 2 has issues communicating with the camera ... " |
On the other hand, read this reivew under Sharpness Test suggests | Quote: | | ... I think the Nikkor 70-200 VRII coupled with the TC 20EIII is a winning combination... |
I am confused. Sorry @rinder99, i value your comments thats why i question myself and the other reviwer i qouted above.
Please guys share your wisdom, experience, thoughts which one (Nikon TC17E II AF-S or Nikon TC-20E III AF-S) will work best with Nikon 70-200 2.8 VRII on D90 and FX body. IQ is paramount else any combo is worthless in my view at least.
Kind Regards,
Javed |

All I know is it didn't work for me.I only post stuff I've bought or tried personally. not what i read.Test both and see. I hope your going to go FF otherwise why spend the extra on the VR2 version. It's for FF cameras.The VR1 will vignette on FX cameras. |
