Hmmm don't know then. You are right they are very similar shots, maybe they just hit the wrong button. Maybe they just thought they were too similar and only accepted 1.

I think this is the reason. I do like the angle on the rejected one though. Oh well.Like i say. Frame then back up 5 steps.

Rob, Your helping folks here and giving advice and You ask about composition??? This just doesn't work my friend. This is a amateur shot and exposure has a lot to be desired..Im sorry.Look at your work as you look at others.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the composition, is my point. It's not a studio shot where you get to control all the lighting, and if they had rejected it for lighting, I could have understood it.

Laurin might just be playing with you like he usually does. It's those concoctions he takes with jalapeno stuffed olives that gives him those wild mood swings. ;)

I wasn't offended by him. He cracks me up. It's like in basic training when you laugh at the drill sergeant's antics at the end. He's like the drill sergeant of stock photography. The photo isn't one of my best; it's true.

I didn't think you were. He's a nice guy even with his one liners. :)

I agree that it needs more neck and that the mouth area blends into the neck.
