Haha, it was only a 10 foot drop. I'm a trained ballet dancer so I know how to fall. Notice I didn't say gracefully.....

I'm also a trained ballet dancer and it still took me 30 minutes to get 4ft from the edge!
I also know how to fall but not from a great height! As I said to Marlene earlier in the day, I'm not afraid of heights I'm afraid of falling and killing myself!

They've GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!
OK, looks like we've got a rogue reviewer again. This is insane! Anybody up for a march on SS's HQ? I'm ready! (Grab your pitchforks!)

That is absolutely ridiculous. Resubmit and write a note asking for a different reviewer to submit@shutterstock.com include the file numbers.

I had so many photos from the desert dismissed for having shadows (in the cloudless desert, imagine that).
There are reviewers who just can't unwrap their heads from the idea that you can only take landscapes before sunrise or after sunset.
Resubmit with a note that shadows are a completely natural part of the desert environment and that the image is a realistic depiction of nature.
Too bad you have to go through the extra effort mind you.

Jane, try dropping in the clouds on MV2.gif like you did on MV.gif.

All I will say is that it is somewhere in or around the east coast. There are a couple of places we are looking into. Guess you will just have to wait and see :)

Thanks for the suggestions and support guys - at least I know that I'm not the only one who thinks these should have been approved.
The problem here is not just lighting but also LCV :o(
On the first, I will tweak the lighting a bit more and perhaps add a little more sky to give some more negative space. Not entirely sure what to do with the dead tree one, I'm going to have to give that a bit more thought!

I have submitted this version with a note to the reviewer explaining that I have corrected lighting issues and added copy space. Let's hope this works!

Hopefully they'll "see the light" on that one, Jane!
One thing for all of us who were at the workshop to consider— I don't know if it's the case, but reviewers may be getting a glut of MV images and subconsciously deciding they're seeing too many of them. I submitted 5 and got them approved, but I'm going to hold off on any more for a while and sprinkle them in a few at a time over the course of the year. Others may want to consider doing that as well. Could also mean a bit more exposure when they are approved.
None of mine have sold, yet, but that's been the trend with new submissions anyway for some time.
