The girl is soft (OOF).

The other could work but the crop is missing.

The focus is just a bit soft once again not too far off, kind of borderline as far as getting accepted. But once again your lighting is too dark. Seems to be a theme in your images. I am wondering if you need to calibrate your monitor.

I also think your white balance is off on the little girl...too much blue, leaving the image flat with no pop.

The eye on the little girl makes me think you used noise reduction or smart blur on the image which would make it softer. Just a guess here, but since you shot this at ISO 640, there was probably a bit of noise.

I also agree about the WB. It's close but just a tad too blue.

You can post the crop for the second image by replying to your own post and adding it there.
