What is happening to the review times. SS has been one of the fastest review agencies. Normal had always been 1-2 days and now it's well over a week. Hope the growth is not getting out of control like other agencies and they forget the great submitters they already have.

Sales are indeed getting better. In the past rejects were very high here so quick approvals were important to determine if uploading more of a series or subject was worth the time. Now with the longer delay I'm finding that I've been sending more to their competitors while I wait for the outcome. I really want to get more and more to SS quicker.

Yes, it seems the reviews have ground to a halt! That together with ftp problems have stopped me uploading for now. Re-uploading and sorting through what makes it through and what doesn't is just too much of a waste of time for me.

What the hell... is the ftp and uploading problems now the main theme of every stock agency? Everywhere I upload there are problems with uploading <_<

Perhaps the reviewers moved to another agency which just started to have better review times :))

I have a old friend that reviews at the large Footage site he says the sheer volume of submissions has tripled in recent Months.

Please allow 72 hours for your videos to be processed. In many cases we can complete a review in as little as 48 hours, but during times of high volume it may take longer.

Yesterday and the day before my reviews went through in less than 24 hours. Closer to 12 actually. Now that I think about it, I keyworded and submitted them about 4 hours ago.

No idea what is going on but I might need to upload a bunch more today... :)

tgtg,

You encountered an uploading error. If you log in and go to "Status of Submitted Footage" under "Stats" you will see from the asterisk next to the batch that we were unable to process one or more clips in the batch.

Most likely, the files did not transfer correctly, and we recommend removing the unprocessed clips and uploading them again.

As for the review time. This is usually within a few days, but can fluctuate depending on the incoming volume. If clips have been waiting for more than 7-10 days contact us at submit@shutterstock.com
