A follow on from the previous post, please review the attached image.

The "Standard" may have too shallow a DOF here for stock? Need to know what you think.

DOF irrelevant, it is out of focus and car logo would be copyrighted

Lots of folks try for shallow DOF by shooting their fast lens wide open. Unfortunately, most lenses are soft (some are very soft) wide open.

For stock, if it is not sharp then nothing else matters. Post this on a discussion forum where people gush about shallow DOF and they will love this. Doesn't work for stock though.

+1 and even if you took the shallow DOF out of the equation the part that is suppose to be in focus is not.
