Check out freepik dot com, I'm certain you'll find your illustrations there. I just found my top sellers on free download offer there, and "free for commercial use".

I've reported them to copyrightinfringement@shutterstock.com and also wrote to their Contact form, requesting removal of my images.

What confused me most is their "sponsored files" section, where they advertise SS image library - I sure hope no one is paying an ad at such place, where just about everything is ripped off.

Someone at Freepik dot com responded to my email. They removed my illustrations from their "free" section and informed me they are linking images from youtoart dot com - and what a motherload of stolen vectors that is!

Check it out to see if your illustrations are there too.

Copyrightinfringement@shutterstock.com apparently is no longer working. I guess we need to write to support to report the stolen artwork.

How do they steel them without watermark? They must have purchased them and then put them up for download.

The whole site looks like a copy of SS. Their whole site needs to be taken down.

I just found one of mine there. It may be difficult to tell if there are more.

Not much, it seems. I wrote to the youtoart dot com site some three weeks ago - twice - with a list of my illustrations they stole, requesting they take them down immediately. No response whatsoever. I also wrote to SS support, listing each of the stolen images from my SS port alongside the same image on the pirate site.

Someone from SS responded saying I need to send them what I already did (list of images in my SS port and the corresponding stolen ones at the other site) and all the emails I sent to the site in question. I thought the information I provided support with would be sufficient (i.e. my SS portfolio image ID with a link to my image here, and the same stolen image over there), especially since I already did all the work, claimed my copyright, requested removal of my images from the site owner directly and went through 190 pages (out of 800+ pages!) of the pirate's loot, listing each of illustrations stolen from my SS port. I'd rather spend time creating then browsing pirate sites and writing endless emails for nothing.

If SS doesn't care about these huge leaks of income and their library being available one click away for free, I guess we shouldn't either. Thieves must be happy and encouraged to keep plundering Shutterstock for other people's work.
