Mind you, this did sell in Norfolk (UK). There's really not much to look at there.

Weirdly, this sold somewhere else the other day as well. I think I was trying to get a sketchy, marker pen look, but it's just wobbly. Still, somebody wanted it!

I really like it! You could do another version in yellows :)

Aw, thanks Rixie! That's really kind of you. *steals idea*

Toots - Go for it, mate.

My computer semi-died so I've ordered a new one. Hurrah! However, much pokingness has resurrected my old one. It's noisy, but it's going. For now. 0_o

Has anybody else noticed the little graphic at the top of the tab in the browser is red and black now? Or is it just me?

Meanwhile, in the UK:

I give up. I have sat here with a blank .ai screen for the last half hour and nothing has come to me, nothing at all. I am now wondering if I'll ever be able to design anything ever again. So annoyed with myself.

Toots - please, don't be annoyed with yourself. It's still small steps. If you can't do it, that's okay. You're allowed another go.

Try following a tutorial. You won't come out of the other end with a file to sell, but you'll be doing something.
Try just creating little decorative bits and pieces. Lst week I couldn't feel inspired, so I began messing around with some Xmas tree shapes, decorating them. It's led to some better stuff.
Try looking at some of your existing stuff and using the elements to create new files.

You'll get there. It might be next month, it might be next year, but you'll get there, when you're ready. *hugs*

Hey Toots, I'm glad Theo posted some positive and reinforcing suggestions before me. I was going to suggest you walk over to the door and whang your head against the edge of it 5-6 times. Or at least until you begin seeing things float around your head, Then, draw those things.

But, maybe you should stick with Theo's suggestions.

+1 ... give yourself time... but try when you feel like it... who cares if you only make a stick figure? ...But wait isn't Bazz making tons of money from those? :-) ! So you never know!

Yeah toots don't beat yourself up. I often stare into the abyss of the bright white blank illustrator screen.

Look through your previous files sometimes you can turn them into new images. Reduce, reuse, recycle.

Course now-a-days I star at a grey blender background until I can get back in the mood for illustrator :p

Wait a minute, I just suggested above that he should beat himself up. Let's not send mixed messages to the guy, let's stick with my idea.

Now Evan. We all know that's what you like to do. I can hear your head hit your desk all the way across the internet :p

Course you could probably hear me throwing my wireless mouse around because this stooopid 3d render won't come out right.

*DUCK!*
