Nothing but trees in the way. Sometimes I hate where I live. Willing to buy a desert.

Another super moon, what's that 2 in the last year? This is the last Super Moon attacking Dallas. (Must be because of global warming! ;)

Beautiful, Mike. Just went outside to check things out. After a gorgeous, sunny day, we're all clouded over. I can see the light, but the moon is hiding. Darn!

Just got back from shooting the moon across the lagoon in University Circle in Cleveland. Rose up near a gothic church tower and crossed just above it, between two spires. Haven't seen the pics on the computer yet.

it was over pretty quick here, perhaps because of low altitude. there was some partying going on as well.
challenge to find suitable foreground. oh well, will have to cut and paste later.

Hmmm... I think you might have cheated a bit to get that.

Hey, we had one of those down in NZ also.
Funny how it's upside down for you guys though. :-p

As with Pancaketom, I agree that the partial moon shots showing shadows on the craters are "better". I'm going to try to get some in a week when it's back to a half moon.

Nice job Geoff, it was great lat night, but I was too tired to get to stay up for it, wish I had my tripod here in the Hutt :-)

Can you get tomorrow off? I will be free.
Of course we couldd just meet in a pub for a beer or something this eve, or tommorrow eve if you wanted?

I was not super impressed with the super moon for the view here in Phoenix but I got a few decent shots that are waiting on review. Here is one.
