Shoot for the shot first, think of stock last. That will change your port really fast =)

Absolutely. I wasn't shooting for stock at all when we were out there. It was for the experience of doing something I hadn't tried before. If I ever manage to clean up the images enough to submit that would just be a dollop of icing on the cake.

The shots posted here are beautiful. Really hope you all get a reviewer that has some sense. :)

One more thing, if we all had an intervalometer out there, our exposures would have been longer and a lower ISO. We shot at 30 seconds at a high ISO so we were all on the same playing field so to speak for teaching aspects. If you want to shoot one with less noise, get an intervalometer and use the settings provided by the email I sent. Play with it and see what you get =)

Jane, you are very welcome! Even if you don't get a .38c download, it's a wonderful photograph to be proud of, hang on your wall or just brag to your friends about how long it took to take it ;)

Thats a happy group....LOL well the video is getting closer. My god. almost 2 hours of video and hundreds of stills that had to be condensed down to 3 videos was killing me to say the least. Along with wind in the microphone that killed everything. Im trying My best. I'll have something to look at by the end of the week if I don't go blind trying.Youtube has limits of file size and I was so far over you can't Imagine, Like a 100GB's. Compress, compress, compress and cut, cut, cut.

Just wanted to share that I just got 13 from 13 approved :0) Both star trails images and the Monument valley shot that rejected for cropping has now been accepted with the addition of extra negative space.

I don't want to show the same shots so I thought I'd share a couple of the others.

Anasazi pano

Zion mountain goat

Bryce Canyon

Monument Valley

Anyone else got anything to show??
