I have been experimenting with using Adobe Bridge to embed keywords before uploading to stock sites. The problem I have come across is that it lists the keywords alphabetically. Generally with stock sites you want the first 4-5 keywords your most important-relevant keywords.

Does anyone know if it is possible to have the keywords not be organized alphabetically in Adobe Bridge?

Thanks for the help.

Don't think it matters much anymore, search engines are better, I use Bridge for my keywording, since I can keep adding words to my dictionary as I go.

I just noticed that SS did not pull my keywords into the content editor. Does SS not do this or am I missing something? Keywords on the other stock sites just show up.

Mine always show up but I enter my keywords in the File Info area of Photoshop.

You can place keywords in bridge in the order that you want if you directly enter them into the keyword field under the the matadata tab. This order is retained in FT when you upload. If I add keywords using the left hand keywords tick boxes it adds the keywords in alphabetical order. I cant seem to find a way to alter this.

Thanks Mike. I will give that a try. Any ideas on how to make my keywords show up in the content editor? In P5 they are just there but I am not seeing anything when I go to edit my files.

I had the same problem on a file 2 days ago. Keywords were on the file, but SS wouldnt take them. Also the title field remained emtpy. That can only be another bug.

I have never had a problem with the keywords not appearing when using Bridge which I use exclusively for the speed of throughput.
Mike is right, if you use the check boxes it automatically puts them in alphabetical order.
FT is a pain in the butt, I suppose my sales might be better there if I bothered to reorder all the words, I ususally just move the two most important to the top of the list

I have used Bridge since CS came out and have never had a problem with any version up through CS5, keywords have always showen up in SS, so it is mysterious why you are having a problem?

I have sent an email to Admin to get their take on it. I'll post what they tell me.
