Im using illustrator cs2 and for the life of me cant find a way to convert to illustrator 8-10. any help.
and the way they say to do it does not work. no under version can be found. here is how they say its done.
Using Illustrator CS2: Choose File > Save As… At the top of the dialog box, choose “Illustrator 8 EPS” under “Version.
so any help would work thanks. |

When you say it does not work, what do you see when you do Save As...? At the bottom of that dialog screen that comes up should be a pull-down menu that allows you to save to Illustrator AI format, EPS, PDF, etc. It should show up in that pull-down. I cannot get my screenshot to allow me to pull down the menu, but here I show how it comes up (defaults to AI), then how you can pull that down to EPS.
Then there will be another dialog box that allows you to choose your legacy format and other settings for the output. Good luck! Let us know how it works. If you still can't see the option, take a screenshot and post it here.
