Howdee Keedz....
Back from the salt mines. An hour and a half till ZZzzzz time..... :O
I'm thinking it's no use trying to get anything done today except for feeding the animals.
Paul -- pepper mines would make you sneeze awfully bad ;) Just think of all that pepper dust.... :P
Chris - I would have literally died with so little sleep. :O
Kel - I can't even make a dent in the weeds in my flower beds, never mind the rest of the farm....LOL

Me either, it's a losing battle Sari.
My neighbor informed me that she just saw a hummingbird, woohoo, boiling up water as I type. :)

Got birdseed today and got that feeder filled and out. I need to make a new batch of hummingbird food but prolly won't do that until tomorrow.
Don't talk about weeds. It seems like my entire yard is filled with them.

If you turn up your water heater you wont need to boil water.

Weeds are good!
They tell you about your soil and how rich it is, and the type of weeds your yard has will tell you what you can grow.
I have all kinds and the soil is extremely rich with all kinds of nutrients.
By the time my garden is in full bloom it will be full of all kinds of weeds.
I dont De-weed any of my garden and get all kinds of goods from it.
Why be bothered weeding it? Especially when it grows like a weed anyhow.

:O | Yeah i have it set up at around 240 if i remember right.
Then when you add the ice water from the well it balances out.
I dont have city water that is warm.

It's been my experience that weeds choke the growth of vegetables and other flowers Barry. I used to have gorgeous cone flowers, but the gout weed that took over that garden (for example) killed them.

Barry if I want to look at flowers in my flowerbeds and the weeds are covering them up I think something needs to be done...
I have more grass growing in my flowerbeds than in the pasture or lawn...LOL
So how do you make sure nobody gets burned with boiling hot water coming out of the tap.... also, isn't it quite expensive to make and keep water that hot for really no reason?? That's a lot of wasted energy.
As far as I'm concerned any water coming out of a faucet is too hot if I can't take a shower in it safely.

Same here Sari, especially the back garden, it's full of that tall, tough forest grass, I put layers of newspaper and landscape fabric and the stuff found its way up anyway. :(
We need to turn our hot water down, I keep forgetting to remind him...another thing to add to the honey- damn -well -do -it list, lol!

Weeds have never affected my garden at all.
I have tomato plants that are over 7 feet tall every year that put out more tomatoes in one day then i and three other families can eat before i have to pick more the next day and the same with everything else like the 3-4 pound cucumbers that are close to 2 feet long at times and of course my 47 pound pumpkin and more, weeds help the plants to get strong.
Now flowerbeds are a different story.
As for the water it doesn't cost anymore with the one 5000 watt element heater i now have versus the quick recovery 5000 watt each two element heater i had before it let go. Also i can add the second element if i want but have chosen not to just yet.
And everyone knows my water is hot and if they go near the sink after me they know to turn it to cold and there is nothing better in a cool house then a steaming hot shower with the massage head on pulse to make you feel good after a hot day outside working.

See this little 3 inch high tomato plant below?
It is already 4 feet tall and has blooms on it.
And here is what the garden looked like a few weeks ago, i will show a newer one and then one when it is growing like a weed later.
