Barry settle down mate, just ignore the naysayers ... have fun at the car show.
unfortunately housework did not include camera work ... it was me down on my knees scrubbing a fridge ... ugh ... and getting rid of things that were threatening to get up and walk of their own accord ...

Barry, take a deeep breath and wonder if its worth all the energy to get so worked up over it (+ the cardial damage it might cause)... its not worth it indeeders :)
Rudy, awwww, you and Billie sound like such a pretty and romantic couple! The cliché says its good to be separated once in a while to make the love even bigger :D (that, and the fact you get done more ;))
You met over the phone eh? Was she a helpdesker somewhere and then you called her and then it was love at first hearing?!
Ugh Wendy, darned chores; i want a cleaning lady but that would be brutal, living on my own and not cleaning my own mess ;P
Susan, your parrots sound like they were THE funniest little characters. Bogart would freak the moment one landed on its back ;)
Little Icarus here is doing a tiny better already; still very shy, but there is at least some movement, right now he's biting off some of the leafs of the sticks i put in his cage (yay, enrichment!). Im building off the sunflowerseeds slowly, i want to get to the point where he only gets them from my hand. It just dawned me, his owner was in a wheelchair, he must think im a giant :/

Lobke I think a cleaning lady, a gardener, a cook and someone to do the shopping sounds ideal. It would leave us free to do the things we wanted to do. I am glad the feathered friend is doing a bit better.
I had to stop cleaning, my young fella and his lady came round to give me lunch. Mother's Day a day early, aint they sweet!

Nope dont care because it has to be said and heard and i am drafting one hell of a post to edit and continually work on till i get it nailed down.
Happy Mothers Day to all who are already in Sunday right now.
Yep need to get ready to get to the car show and see what is going on and share some info that some of these car people who are young don't have any idea about.

hi kids. some other mind ramblings while i've got electricity and a web connect.
seems like the site can pass you by while your away. ipo? really?
fyi, photography is the most cut throat, competitive, back stabbing business i've ever been in. when i look at the way of life in the middle hill country of the jungle alpine border region of nepal, i see how simple life can be.
i'm going north to the lost kingdom of lo manthang - a tibetian cultural holdout in the restricted area of mustang monday for 12 days. hadn't been in a car for 11 until a quick taxi ride today.
oh, and that bit about mr bigmouth and his 11 day sales slump...boy could i...boy could i. for 7 years my sales are consistent, day in day out week by week. trickle drop trickle drop. the gumball machine never needs fixin...

Morning Keedz! :)
It rained a little overnight - not near enough, though :( Also, the chances of any rain have faded away pretty much till the end of the forecast range :|
Have y'all looked at the most popular searches where your pics are/used to be close to the top?
I have noticed some of mine go up, and some down, after having been stationary in the same place for a long, long time.
I'm thinking the new most popular search algorithm is probably not favoring the oldest pics, but gives a better spot for newer pics from newer submitters. Of course, I'm just speculating, but I'm seeing lots of newish pics taking higher spots while old ones that held the top spots have been pushed down some.

Hi Robert!
Wow - it sounds like you're on quite an adventure there!
And yep - the farther you get away from the cities and the "civilization" the simpler the life gets. City people would never survive that, much less enjoy it ;)

Yup, except she forgot the most important part -- someone to work and make the $$$$$ so we can enjoy doing the things we love without having to think of every penny... ;)
