Finally got some nice weather today. Sun is finally shining so hopefully I'll be able to go out and shoot later.

All my daughters work is on the computer until the 22nd so I'll have limited access until she gets done with her stuff. Can't say the same about my boy his idiot teacher threw a ton of paperwork at him. I'm hoping next year for him will be better.

I can't wait to turn the books in on Wednesday that way I can get most of my dining room table back and I might be able to use it for the first time in 9 months.

Hmm things could be achangin' round here ...

See this notification:

Not sure how that will affect us in the long term.

Bummer on the missing pics, makes me kind of glad that I have an empty Q at the moment.

Diana I dont blame you for not uploading. We can do without that sort of frustration.

Barry how long is school out for? You sure have been an uploading machine. Well done.

Kelly have you got shots of the pheasant yet? Your male humming bird is stunning.

Anita it sounds like the home schooling thing is full of frustrations. I hope next year is better for you all.

Still trying to do school work ... it is taking far more time than I expected.

Hai Keedz...

Back from the salt mines...

Already had dinner on the way home, so that's one off the list for the evening ;)

Has anyone checked the placings of their files again in the most popular search?

My horsey pic appears 11th in all horse images, 8th in horse photos... out of near 80 thousand photos... (near 100 thousand with illustrations) :O

It's obvious the recent change made it jump up a lot...

:O :O :o !!!!!

Nice indeed!

Salt mines, salt mines, salt mines...that's becoming very redundant Sari, lol! :p

Thanks girls! It might get dinged for noise, I didn't realize the ISO was set at 500.

I went out with the cam after the pheasant this morning Wendy, but it was too dark.

Thanks Wendy.

Haven't looked at the search order!

School goes out "officially" on the 3rd of June even though they are out before Memorial Day then they go back just a few days after Labor Day in the beginning of September so they are off for just over three months.

Kel - what should I call the salt mines then, "my personal prison"? or something like that? :P

ISO 500 is not high if you do it right ;)

My passion flower is starting to bloom - one flower open, a couple of dozen getting there. Now if I could find the edible kind of passion fruit plant and get it growing it would be perfect :)

Yes, I guess I need some lessons on getting it *right*, maybe if you have a spare moment from your salt mines... :p ;)

The noise is minimal but with the reviews lately, you never know, it might get dinged for auto tracing too, lol!.

Depending also on what you are doing you can use the smart blur, surface blur or another to knock it down some especially if you are using a SDOF on it.

SS mentioned that the searches would change for each person. That leads me to believe the results might be based on previous searches... and/or like the adds on Facebook the types of sites you have visited before and after visiting SS. I wonder if the new search also takes into account images that you view and places those high in subsequent searches.

Good morning.

I was hanging clothes on the line this morning and two big does came flying up from the meadow right into the empty lot next door. Of course they were nowhere to be seen after I ran in and grabbed my camera.

It even happens with me.

Always take your camera with you.
