That's pretty neat Barry.

I'm heading out to the hummingbird feeder now, I hung one from the apple tree, which is blooming, I'm hoping to catch him up there.

Dang Barry you gotta zoo in your backyard.

Heard one lone coyote howling last night across the street really close. If there were others I didn't hear them. Course a few weeks ago there were a pack of them in our yard about 3am when they started to do their "barking" and it scared the crap outta me.

I don't get it the sun was out an not one ding damn hummingbird yesterday *sigh* The ones I've seen were green and have a white band around their neck. Last year all I saw were ones that looked like they were solid green.

Anyhoo kids need to get to work so I'm offa here for a bit. Behave ya'all ;)

Back from the salt mines...

Already had dinner on the way home, so that's one off the list for the evening ;)

Has anyone checked the placings of their files again in the most popular search?

My horsey pic appears 11th in all horse images, 8th in horse photos... out of near 80 thousand photos... (near 100 thousand with illustrations) :O

It's obvious the recent change made it jump up a lot...

:O :O :o !!!!!

Kel - sweet Hummer!!

SS mentioned that the searches would change for each person. That leads me to believe the results might be based on previous searches... and/or like the adds on Facebook the types of sites you have visited before and after visiting SS. I wonder if the new search also takes into account images that you view and places those high in subsequent searches.

The search is back to what it used to be (at least on my end and another contributor I checked with) All images appear to be on their old position again.

Now Kelly if they'd just show up later on this evening. I really have to learn to get up early so I can get the early sunlight.

Once the kids are out of school on the 22nd I might just do that one night without having the pressure of them being in the way and I can sleep after I shoot.

No interruptions or distractions just turn on a movie and listen to it or some music and go to town.

Only thing is dont expect being able to be able to sleep in because of KIDS.

Kelly I hope the hummingbird does not get dinged for noise ... sorry you missed your pheasant. lol on autotracing (still have no idea how you got that rejection on a photo). Sorry you missed the doe. Isn't it always the way that great photo-ops happen when the camera is nowhere near.

Wow on the kids being off for 3 months Barry, the longest break our kids get is 6 weeks over summer. Wow on the snapping turtle laying eggs. Not something I have ever seen except on the tv.

Sari I love edible passion fruit. I had a plant but it died unfortunately.

Susan if they are using that type of search no wonder my images are never found, I hardly go anywhere on the net (well usually, I am having to do research for school which means I am looking more lately lol)

Anita I can well imagine that hearing coyotes close would scare you. Sleeping in and kids do not generally go in the same sentence lol.

Diana I hope the search is kind to your downloads.

Ok off to do reading on typography :S

Hai Keedz...

Wendy - I think the best juice EVER I've had was passion fruit juice. It just beats everything else hands down. I may have to start a quest so I can have my own source of awesome juice :D

Kel - I think you can master the Hummer shots even with a higher ISO :) Just remember what we talked about before!

Anita - I don't know anything about the sunlight in Colorado, but out here the best time to get Hummer shots is between 9 and 10 am -- plenty of light, but it's not too high yet to kill the pics with shadows.

I have tried sometimes in the late afternoon, but it's never as good as the morning light - here anyways.

Would you all just send your storms THIS way? PLEASE???

I gotta go water my plants and see if I have more Passion flowers open... :)

I saw someone just got an EL on the exact same kind of Passion flower I have...

Where we're at the sun starts getting harsh around that time with shadows and whatnot. I'm going to park myself outside after I'm done with upload hell to see if I can get anything decent.

Got 6 in the queue and didn't run into the issue of corrupt files. I've seen it before but it's been awhile.
