Wow, that's mesmerizing.
I thought it was taken *from* the Eifel tower. Didn't realize until I panned down that it was taken from *above* the tower. Helicopter? Quite a shot, quite a view.
Boy, that's a crush of humanity. Nothing but dense Parisian city all the way to the horizon in all directions. Amazing.

Anybody know how they did this? How did they do this without any visible camera support? If they used a rig similar to the rig that google maps uses, a big ball full of cameras on the roof of a car, but hung it under a helicopter: Why is the helicopter not in the image when you pan up? The camera or cameras appear to be floating in the smoggy air of Paris. When I do the 360 pano's with my 8 mm, the tripod is always in the pano. |

That's nice but I did not see how he produced some of these without any visible camera support. I guess he takes the camera support out with computer voodoo. |
