I'm pretty rubbish with FB but I couldn't find anywhere to 'like' the image?
Also, I'm a bit surprised that I can download the un-watermarked image at the fairly large size of 2048 x 1666. You may want to see if there is anything you can do about that?
I wish you luck and I'm happy to vote, if you can tell me how! |

If I remember right in order for someone to like something on FB you need to be friends with that person otherwise it does not give you that option. |

Thanks Dave, you can tell I'm not that proficient at FB! I have almost avoided it, for a number of reasons that no longer exist, so perhaps I need to spend a bit more time finding my way around.
The one thing that makes me a bit nervous about FB is image theft. I was surprised to see how easy it was to DL the high-res competition image posted by Paul Vinten. I came across an incident yesterday where a friend of my daughters went to Las Vegas and bumped into Cheryl Cole, (UK pop princess), - she quickly snapped an image of Cheryl with her boyfriend and it found its way from her Facebook page to the Daily Mail within a matter of hours! Not sure how legitimate that usage was......?
Anyway, Paul, as I said - happy to vote if you explain how :) |

Facebook is not built to protect your photos, its to share your whole life with everybody else. Facebook has not so long ago added the option to load highres photos and they are all available for download.
Its also written in Facebook TOS that all content uploaded to Facebook belongs to Facebook. If they want to use your photo for a worldwide add campaign and also print a billion t shirts with your photo on it, they can do so without telling and compensating you.

This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account unless your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it.

Thanks Semmickphoto,
I knew I was avoiding FB for a reason! Obviously wise to downsize and watermark any image that gets uploaded there. |
