Thanks for posting, that photo made my day ;-)
Funniest thing I have seen in a while. And I mean that in the most respectful and positive way.

Ok, I am going out on a limb here, it might be the eyesockets. There are some shadows there that they might want to have seen filled.

Maybe they want darker areas of the skull to be brightened up

Trying to be constructive here... Do I see a hint of yellow tone in the shadows?

Could it be that the red is blown?
Not quite (at 254) but close ...

So the difference is from 99 to 100

The X behind the skull is a graphic isn't it? It may not be so obvious when in black but in red it's just a flat featureless X.
But my guess is the reviewer went 'Huh?' as I did when I saw it and then just clicked any old reason.
You are inviting inflammatory responses with the title of your thread.

I don't want to discredit the reviewer but it seems like an optical illusion... when I look at the black x photo, I see a strong black x on a white background, but when I look at the red x I see a red x on a somewhat pinkish background.... for my eyes, the red X on white plays tricks and makes the bg look not quite white. Not sure if this is the issue or not?
