Its not really promoting anything as is. There is a lot of posts from twitter to your ports. The same ports over and over. But there are no photos to be seen on the page. Only a few.
I would post your best selling photos and post a link in the description to the photo on the particular stock site.
Also, I would only post photos that are accepted on stock sites. And only post your best work.
At the moment its a time line full of twitter posts, not very attractive. If I was a visitor, Id be leaving the page within a minute because it doesnt attract me, nor is there anything to keep my interest.
People will also not like the page as it is now. Because they dont want their news feed flooded with your tweets saying you sold two photos here and there. They want to see photos on their news feed that amaze them.
Dont want to be rude or cruel, just my honest opinion.
However, I think its a good idea to utilise Facebook as its a strong platform with loads of potential exposure.

This is great. Thanks. I have a fear of posting pics and having them illegally downloaded, but I think they get automatically compressed with the watermark, so I need to get over it.
Thanks again guys - I appreciate the feedback - good, bad and everything else in between.

Jack, upload only 800x600 photos to Facebook and add your own watermark on the photos. Or post links to the photos. Dont upload full res photos because all photos can be downloaded, and you cant disable that. |

Welcome to the internet jack. If someones gonna steal it theres not much you can do about it. Also watermarks are extremely easy to get rid of.It's what it is unfortunately. A few years ago we got into a heated argument about watermarks. I said I could get rid of any of them, I proved it.I can take a 200 x 200 Image and with genuine Fractals produce prints and make t-shirts and coffee cups in minutes. And I agree with Ron on your Microstock page. |

And I agree with Laurin :) If you dont want your photos stolen, stay away from Facebook altogether. |

I see you are taking the advice, and I also see it works, because visitors start to click like on your photos now ;-) |
