I have been here about a month and don't have a large sample to draw conclusions from so I was hoping some of the veterans out there could shed some light on the matter.

What day of the week is best/worst?

Is the beginning or end of the month better?

What months of the year are best/worst?

Hi vreddane,

In my experience March has always been the best month in regards to sales.

As for weekdays, without having examined this closely I'm always looking forward to tuesdays :)

Beginning or end of the month - Hmm, I think it's about the same. Maybe it's just my imagination, but I sometimes see a little boost whenever a new month begins - perhaps some companies have tight budgets for stock imagery on a month by month basis, and maybe they have a tendency of using up this budget before the month is over / in the beginning of the month ?

Thanks for the insight Thomas! Maybe because I am new I feel like I am over anylizing everything and constantly checking my downloads when maybe that time would be better spent creating more vectors, haha.

Autumn/Fall and Spring months seem best for me but I think it depends on the content of your portfolio.

December is slow for obvious reasons. Summer months can be a bit up and down as people go on holiday/kids are off.

March and November for me. December is also good but dies around 20th.
