I'm also waiting on images that I started uploading on May 16th, NINE days ago. What went wrong on May 16th? Several of us here are reporting this very long delay with images uploaded that day.
Then about four days ago, I had ONE image reviewed and accepted -- the rest stayed in queue. Has this happened to anyone else? Then yesterday, three more were reviewed. The rest stayed. This is maddening! I've written support three times. Feel totally helpless :(

Yes, it happened to me today.
I have deleted pending images and resubmitted them. |

Review times is about 5 days, and editorial is about 2 days.
ANything that is stuck in the queue, needs to be deleted and resubmitted. |

Making the then 10 day wait a now 20 day wait to possibly still not get reviewed and turn it into a 30 day wait?
It isn't right when we are used to reviews in under 3 days and most times 24hrs! |

No, its what SS suggests. I deleted and resubmitted 20 days ago after waiting 10 days, and 5 days later it was done and dusted.
People can sit here and wait, or just delete and resubmit and get it over with. |

Well, I have no problem with this if SS accepts this to be a bug and suggests so. Below is the email I received from support, which suggests that all this is normal and as a result of increased submission traffic :)

All that SS needs to be do is to inform us that they are having problem with our submissions. It is not easy to get over it as it is not the first time and to me it is a bug in their review system.

some of my files was stuck around end of april , I deleted them and resubmitted on 16.05. and now deleted and resubmitted for third time :-/

I can advice one more thing , don't upload all files on one day . don't have lot of empty time between uploads . if you upload every few days and it happened that newer files are reviewed , and some older are not , you can be pretty sure that those are stuck in the glitch .
I usually do like that but this time i had a week with no new uploads so couldn't tell for sure is it long review time or glitch .... i was unlucky ...
there is no real downside for uploading files in few days in stead of everything at once . when they review your files they will review all of them so you are not wasting any time that way and you have some "glitch control" system ... at least some of them will be reviewed and you will know witch one were affected.
worst thing is uploading huge number of files one day and then have pause of week or more . if you are unlucky you will have to do it all over again ....

what I don't understand is when ppl send e-mail with batch number why SS can't find those files and review it manually if they somehow lost in the system ? Why is deleting only option ? whats happening on those days to causes files to disappear ? |

I just realized that I have the same issue.
Batches submitted weeks ago are still pending...
There must be a glitch in the system. |

I got the advice from SS support to delete and resubmit the photos.
We will see if that helps or are they also going to get stucked... |

Normal review time right now is at least 4 days and you are only on day 3. |

I'll wait it out a little longer and then re-submit. I really don't like the idea of having to caption everything again. |
