I look at it this way. If I am doing this to help someone then I need to do it in a way that helps and not just give a list of what needs to be addressed. You can give a list of things that are wrong but the person may not know how to correct them. Nothing wrong with pointing out what is wrong but there also needs to be those who go into more detail.

Also with food photography there are many variables and ways of doing things because you are actually preparing what you are photographing much of the time. Cooking may seem very simple but there is actually quite a bit too it so it takes time to explain this.

Just my way of doing things.


I consider you one of the most helpful persons here. If we join together 10% of your posts we could make a book with it :-)
