SS can use the DT loupe technique to let buyers view details on a thumbnail.

I've written to support also. The more of us who complain - large players or bit parts! - the better!

Watermarks of different types are old technique and still usable. If you have another idea please share. Anybody can try to contribute. Sites with partial display and heavy watermarking didn't get rid from buyers. I watermark all images which i supply for a potential buyer. Often i have requests to send high res and "clean". Ask yourself: why they need such? Really to buy after?

1000 x 990 is big enough now for any purpose.Especially prints and t-shirts and whatever else. Why don't they just use flash instead of HTML. That would help.Doesn't stop thief but it sure slows them down.

This site started as a photo sharing site. looks like there going back to it.No profit in that.

All about profit...but for who? I have so many people tell me they signed up for SS from my link as a buyer and a submitter...I still see no profits..Thanks Barry! I will compose something tonight!

Thank you for this email SS,

Please know that you can view an daccess all of your referred photographers at
the following link http://submit.shutterstock.com/referrals.mhtml:

but many of my referrals have probably given up since they signed up originally...how do you follow up to make sure that they don't sign up with another email?

Do you really think that this will stop pirating from Russia and China. The FBI logo may mean something in the US but piracy is world wide, and the internet just cannot be policed effectively.

The UK courts ordered most ISP's in the UK to block pirate bay, including the one I am with. It took me all of two minutes to locate an alternative address that logged into the site, so the courts ruling and the ISP action was totally useless.

When I dug up this thread, I just wanted to know what happened to the resistance against the new search. It seems that we have accepted this now and that SS didnt do anything with our concerns. Or they did, and decided they dont care.

Here is the uncropped PNG version of the seal by the way

Incredible, I'm speechless, which is a good job or else I could see me getting banned.
