You're in for a ride of emotions to be felt, questions to be asked and decisions to be made. But there is healing to be experienced as well.

As a pastor, I have stood by two separate brides who lost their husbands within three years of the wedding, three good friends who died too young, and of course multiple strangers. Your loss is real and honest and personal. So is the love of God, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. Many of us will be praying for His comfort for you and His direction as you find the new future that awaits you.

If you PM me, I can send you some booklets on grieving that we give to people at our church when they lose a loved one.

Thank you all so much for all your kind words. I'm happy that I could share it with such caring and supporting people. I was in depression before I met my husband and don't want to go that route again... He was always so positive and happy and wouldn't want me to be in depression again, so that's why I'm trying to share and reach out, and it helps me a lot. Thank you all again!

If you can occupy your mind for even a few minutes a day with your photography, then I hope it will bring you some solace while you grieve.

I'm so very sorry to hear of your sudden loss of your loving husband. I hope you're able to find comfort with your family as you cope with adjusting and can find distraction in your photography when the time is right. My heart aches for you and my thoughts are with you.
