Im really about ready to stop trying to feed this beast and a beast it has become.fat and Lazy. What for? new images don't sell so why even submit. Also, I agree Theres something very wrong with the review staff or a few reviewers and it's time someone takes control of it.. I know Lot's of Very,Very good Photographers that do amazing work that have stopped uploading completely because of this. For me, Im looking at some new sites coming up that actually need our work. |
Agree 100%. I have stop submitting here. |

Very sorry also Carlos. Point being is, Rejections are one thing from submitters that have been around and probably have 10 times the experience of reviewers anyway But, I always write a note and 99.9% of the time they are reversed which is good I guess But, thats double the work for me, And Double the time for a reviewer and or staff.I really don't wanna have to do it like this, It's just not cost effective for me or the company. When I reviewed I always looked at the persons port and or length of time they have put into this. We all make some mistakes along the way but that always affected my decision. Maybe it shouldn't have But that was my way. This "Absolute Perfection" routine is wearing thin. This is not RM nor Macrostock...This is penny stock for gods sake. Our work is More and More being stolen and used improperly,Sent off to resellers and pardner sites we don't know, and how do we know if were even getting paid?. We don't. Theres a lot that is great about this business...
but there's a lot that isn't because it's so big and out of control and from what I see, No one has the power to get anything done.It must be very frustrating for the ones that care at these companies. |

Just received another rejection from SS couple minutes ago.
Gosh, I must have lost my touch completely after these five years of submitting images here.
???? |
I'm so sorry to hear that, must just be hit and miss with reviewers-ugh! |
Thanks Katrina, compassion is appreciated. ;)
I assume so, I have been fine for months with my submissions. When something has been rejected it has been on something that I thought that might happen. Now it was just plain all of them, except for one. :\ |
You got hit by Attila, it happens from time to time, that's one miserable reviewer...she/he needs to be brought to the attention of admin. I've had entire batches (as have others) rejected across the board for LCV, it's ridiculous. |
I emailed SS many times about the absurd of those rejections, and their response is worse than the rejections itself, it doesnt make any sense. I just keep resubmitting everything over and over ,and they get accepted at the end. I'm actually not learning anything from rejections since they are most of the time not accurate. LCV is nonsense, and trademark is another problem. The same picture can be considered trademark for one reviewer, and not for another, why is that? Or it is or it is not, SS needs to follow standards on that, all reviewers supposed to be on the same page. |
