OK so i go to wally world for some pool salt right.
On the way out i see two Guinea Bubba's with one girl, ones wife or ones sister?
They are pushing out a big metal frame pool 18x36 to their car with a shopping cart that has a box of shock (10 packs per box) and a few other chemicals.
So now i try to be nice and inform them that they dont have anywhere near the right amount of chemicals for their pool, not to mention no Chlorine and the girl pulls a typical Guinea response to make them look like they are smart.
So she say's my deady's been in the pool business for thirty years so i try to tell her about the salt instead of chlorine and get from her well my deady can get me that.
So now i shut up and proceed to my car and now you have to wonder if deady has been in the pool business for thirty years why are you just now getting a pool {She's in her thirties) and better yet why at wally world and not from deady? where i am sure you will get a great discount unlike wally world!
SO upon leaving i should have stayed to see how her two Guinea Bubba's were gonna heave a 500lb pool in a box from the ground into the back of the "Bubba Truck" who's tailgate is easily 3ft or more off the ground!
I bet that was a funny one there! HA{:o)
You also need to understand the kind of people i am talking about. They live in their own little world and if you aren't a Guinea-man then you are a nobody type of people and a pee-on to them. |

Anita, yikes!
Here's the poor little guy. He wasn't in the ideal position for proper lighting.

He is really pretty Kelly, maybe he can get better on his own by puffing to to say warm. Sometime finches like slices of orange and that could help him with vitamins and more energy.
You have such a way with capturing birds... they must like you! |

Love this one Kelly, it is not often you see images with such surroundings. He might also like chopped up apples or grapes. They burn alot of energy when they are sick. His eyes and nostrils still look pretty good, he may get better if you don't have another cold snap. |

I do have apples, I'll put some bits out, thanks.
:) I've uploaded one.
Two days age those flowers (creeping phlox) were in full bloom, they got pummeled by all the rain, unfortunately. |

Yep, lol Sari, we're a little behind you guys.
People here have been planting their gardens over the past few weeks, and the tomato plants don't go out until after the first full moon in June.
We're *supposed* to be getting a little greenhouse next Monday, it should extend our growing season a bit (I'm already afraid of it, they'll be ^&%&$%^$^& snakes in it, I know it!). |

Oh, Susan, our goldfinches over winter here, that's why I think he's sick from something else, although the cold wouldn't help... the hummingbirds are another story, they're used to warm climates. |

I have those little yellow birds also Kelly but no way to even think of getting a shot of it.
Went out and got a few pics of some of my cats and of a yellow tiger swallowtail then got some wildflower with a flying ant on it and also a damselfly was posing around the trees for awhile.
And i still have to work on stuff from my last shoot. |

Morning folks ...
cool here but not as cool as you guys get ... if it stops raining it will warm up a bit.
Glad you day improved Barry.
Rudy that kind of humidity is not pleasant.
Sari I am like you and can feel cold in those sorts of temps. Love your family stories. Wyatt sounds cute. Well done on an EL.
Susan you really do have a good streak in you, as you say its sad that you cant save everyone.
Kelly your goldfinch is a gorgeous, never seen one like that. You sure have some stunning birds. Hope he is ok!
Barry the pool purchasers must have been a real sight ....
Anita your critter sounds fascinating but not one you really want in the house huh. |

Wendy - yup, Wyatt is a pretty cool pup :)
Our weather forecast this morning was "slight chance of thunderstorms" --- now it's "80% chance of severe thunderstorms"....LOL
Just send me some rain!!!
Kel - we only got some tomato plants last week -- most people had them going already two months ago. I didn't have any last year so I guess being late is an improvement...LOL |

I wondered about that Kelly... lets hope that what ever it is he recovers. He is so cute, at least he is still drinking. That is a good sign. |

I hope it is not getting too cold for you, it has been hazy and cool here but June is rather gloomy because of coastal haze.
My son is happy he gets two summers, however he is really missing his mates and Australia in general. I would not be surprised to see him move back soon. |
