What are you guys talking about?

If the game is up then up it for everyone.
To Fotomake and others, no offence but when you critique on images from fellow contributors make sure your own images are up to the standards you expect others to have.
There is nothing framed on the background image but I don't need to justify this anyway, I'm not here to ask for a critique.
I've had my BDE here yesterday in amount of downloads so I know my work sells, I just need to get it out there which is really hard with inconsistent reviews.

Also, I will try to make this my final post about reviewing because I don't like to complain and I don't like to put SS in a bad light because of their reviewers.
So apologies if I will not respond anymore but I just don't have the time to fiddle around with this and it's bad for my blood pressure.
The only thing left for me to do is put a tap on my feed to SS if this inconsistent reviewing continues.

Take care lads ;)

As I said in plain English, they want "US" ( as in "we" plural, including myself ). I don't really care about you or anybody else. I don't expect others to be up to standards but myself! I personally virtually stopped uploading photos long time ago ( I honestly think my photos are pure crap and I will delete about 95% of them ) and decided to learn photography, because unlike many who think microstock school of photography is amazing ( and encourage themselves by the shade of a strawberry creating drama or puppies being soooo cuuute, or adding texture ), it is not. Most of the things I have learned here, lighting especially, are terrible. I look at pages and pages of work just to see a couple of good photos. Than I look at works of top advertising and editorial photographers and I spend hours looking at. analyzing and learning from one single amazing photo they have made.
Sorry dude, but the indication that you had the BDE, WDE, BME, 2 OD's or a Russian website stole your photo, is not an indication of how the things are.
And at the end...Why are you sending me private messages?????? This is a public forum, not a private conversation.

Guys, we need to play nicer! If you do not like Shutterstock this bad, then leave. But if you are here, do not attack each other - we are in it together.
As an original poster on this forum, I wanted to complain about a bad reviewer because I want the problem fixed. Personally, I have been with Shutterstock for 3 years and I am definetely staying. Shutterstock have been great for me, in my situation.

"If your new stuff isn't selling because the buyers don't want it, because it's outdated, then why are they buying your old stuff? "

A question I ask myself everyday.

What does LCV or "We don't need this at this time" really mean. LCV to who,? the reviewer and... can a reviewer possibly know what the site needs or doesn't need at this time. I've never met anyone that could possibly know that.

I posted this in the hummer thread, but I am just going to repeat it here.

I got 10 out of 15 rejected. Most LCV due to composition. That is THE WORST rejection you can give me.

Listen, Mr or Ms. Reviewer. I might not know much, but I do know composition. I teach it to innocent bystanders and folks of all layers of the population for crying out loud. If you don't want a picture, just say so, but don't give me this crap! What do you think I did for the last 30 years or so? Twittle my toe?

I got hit with the stick too. Two totally unique images rejected for overuse of noise reduction software...what's that?

I'm not too hurt because new stuff doesn't sell here anymore anyway.

Just got 2 focus rejections on isolated over white subjects :)))) Way to go!

Can we please have a scout or whoever who can re-review reviewers' reviews? Or some feedback option similar to those available on other SS pages? Thanks in advance!

It probably can. I just don't recall having that kind of rejection reason for an isolation, for a long long time, if ever (?).

Think it's more weird to have a composition rejection on an isolation.
