Because of the drop in downloads in the beginning of the summer I consider if it worth to upload illustrations now, or to draw, not upload now, but in the September? What do you think?

Between now and September you could loose a good number of downloads!

Definitely don't give up on uploading during the summer. Though new images don't get the sales volume they used to, it won't hurt to build up your port during the slow times. If buyers want them they'll find them.

Some people say - if not to upload on summer, sales will have less increase in September...or will have no increase at all. In any case an image on your hard drive will not get any DL's at all))

Keep uploading.

Personally, I don't believe in the summer slowdown. I've never experienced it, and I don't buy into the notion that people really just stop working in large enough numbers to make a difference. Sure, kids are out of school, families are more likely to take vacations, etc. But who goes away for the entire summer? And how many people (like myself) don't vacation at all in the summer? Businesses stay open, work still needs to get done, and people still need stock images.

Europeans? I'm kidding.

Seriously though, I think the summer typically seems slower for design/illustration work. My freelance work usually slows down in the summer as well. I'm not sure why though. That said, I don't think there is any reason not to upload. I've had BME in the summer too.

I see slowdown. At first ten days of May I earned twice more than at fist 10 days of June. But it seems from answers that it's worth to continue uploading inspite of this. Thank you very much for an answer.
