hi all
i have been here for several years, now earning my .38c per image but i am completely new to footage. my new toy lets me take hd clips and they even got accepted. but i am guessing that being accepted is the easy part, selling might be hard...
is the footage market any different from the image market?
i see a lot of 10-20 sec clips that are static views of popular nature subjects (clouds, meadows, valleys, rivers...), is there a market for that or do they come from 'lazy' photographers with dslr's that have a movie record button?
what do you guys think about the huge amount of time lapses? checking the most popular video searches shows that timelapse is listed twice in the top 5...
who are the typical customers?
how are those clips used? commercials?
what software do you use/recommend. i currently use lightroom for my images, is there something similar for movies?
hoping to get some insights. thanks

Hi, Pete!
Your clips look great. You need no advice, simply keep that way.
Honestly,
Christian. |
