I tried to post this but didn't see it show up in the forum. Sorry if I have double posted it.
Anyway I am just trying to get some critiques to prepare my first 10 submission. I know I have a long way to go but this is a start. Thanks in advance.

I agree with Barry on the first two being OOF, however the last one which has a shallow DOF, (the fan with the chincses writing) I cannot make a determination without the 100% of the area that appears to be the most in focus

Agree with Jeff on the last one. Others are gone for focus.

Also lighting is not correct on some images being too harsh. They like bright images, but with even lighting.

You can only upload three images at a time. You can add to the thread just by starting another post in it.
Just to add a couple of things to what has already been said.
Watch your composition and your depth of field. In image IMG_7638_small.JPG what grabs my eye first is the out of focus area on the left side. The shallow DOF caused that to be thrown way OOF which tends to draw the eye to that instead of the object of the shot. Take the time to now only know what is in the entire viewfinder other than the object of the shot as well as understand what your aperture will do to the DOF.
As far as the lighting goes with the fan shot you have some obvious light fall off. Notice the difference in intensity from the front of the fan to the back of it. The further light has to travel the less intense it becomes so you need to make some kind of adjustment.
