Hi Guys,
I bought a Canon 7D in August 2011 and have spent nearly a year thinking that the focus was down to something that I was doing, even when using a tripod and fast shutter speeds.
However, before the warranty was up I finally succumbed and took it back to the shop where I bought it, together with a bunch of photos I had taken...And guess what!! The camera needed recalibrating as it was front focusing.
I have just picked it up from the Service Centre this morning so will be checking it out tonight, so fingers crossed it will be all sorted.
So, if you are still having problems it may be worth getting it checked out. |

Must admit last night's photos don't look promising as the images were very soft, but will be carrying out further checks tonight with a Spyder LensCal and comparison checks against my 20D.
So fingers crossed. |
