It's just a glitch. I've got the same thing on my front page except mine says I've got 98 waiting to be submitted. The bug with your newly approved images not showing up on your landing page got fixed but that one appeared yesterday. I would just ignore it I'm sure it'll straighten itself out eventually.

oh, i thoughts it was only me. i have 17 spooky ghost files waiting to be submitted.

The phantoms seem to be going down. I now only have 62 hanging out which matches the total of my last 2 batches from 2 weeks ago. So they're slowly going away.
