Hello all, two of my hair images have appeared in a national hair magazine, each photo a full page image, and one thumbnail image of the photo on the cover.
I was under the impression (perhaps the wrong impression) that they would need an enhanced licence for that? However I have never sold an enhanced licence on those two images.
I know they definitely came from my shutterstock account, as I make subtle changes to the images I upload to SS so I know where they came from if they are used.
Cheers.

They only need an EL if they produce more than 250,000 copies of the mag, brochure, postcard etc.
So if they do, you're lucky. If not, you got $0.25 for a shot that's worth hundreds if a model photographer does it exclusively for them.
That's one of the downsides of micro stock if you ask me... Many contributors create work of art of the highest standard but when unlucky, they don't sell or sell it for 0.25 while the buyers make hundreds by selling their product. But that's how it is, I guess...
Best regards,
Christian
