For the first time, I am working on an LCD monitor and I want to be sure that what I'm seeing is true. Any tips on a good calibration tool? Anything I can check now until I get a chance to purchase calibration software? Any words of warning or things to watch for?
Thanks in advance.

Spyder works fine for me. One thing about LCD monitors is that they may show banding if they can't display the full color gamut of whatever image you are displaying. The problem will be in your monitor and not the image(s). Just something to look out for.

What monitor are you using? Their not all the same of course. Some will calibrate to print as you see on the screen and some will not.
